Learn to Meditate
how to make ourselves and others happy
Public Talk with Buddhist monk, Kelsang Jampel
Wednesday 12 December
6pm – 7.30pm
Discover for yourself the inner peace and lightness of mind that come from meditation
The main purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful. If our mind is peaceful we will be free from worries and mental discomfort, and so we will experience true happiness; but if our mind is not peaceful, we will find it very difficult to be happy, even if we are living in the very best conditions.
No matter how much we search, the real causes of happiness cannot be found outside our own mind. If we understand the qualities of mind that are conducive to real peace and happiness, then by improving our mind with meditation and cultivating these qualities we can experience more and more happiness and peace and become a source of happiness for everyone we know and care for. This is the best, most reliable way by which we can greatly improve our quality of life both now and in the future.
At this inspiring PUBLIC TALK, with Buddhist monk and Teacher, Kelsang Jampel, discover ways of thinking that will open us up to a life of possibility, joy, flexibility and confidence. The talk will help you create an inspiring vision for your life based on what’s possible through training the mind. Thus empowering ourselves to enjoy truly satisfying and meaningful lives.
