Lions River – 14 District Rd 369

guided retreat
With Kelsang Jampel, Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Durban

Gen Phuntsog
taking & giving
A Bodhisattva is a friend of the world, who, moved by compassion engages in training in the six perfections: giving, moral discipline, patience, joyful effort, concentration, and wisdom. A Bodhisattva aspires to gradually improve him or herself to a level at which they can actually make a difference in this world by effectively helping countless others. Training in the path of kindness gives us the energy and inspiration we need for our personal spiritual growth and the ability to be of great benefit to others in our life.
Based on the inspiring teachings received at the International Summer Festival in the UK, Kelsang Jampel will share practical advice on how to engage in the Bodhisattva’s way of life and to integrate greater empathy and kindness into our daily life.
