We have two beautiful away retreat venues to allow for relaxing weekend break retreats which offer a chance to deepen our meditation experience in a quiet and peaceful setting.
Francolin Fields Retreat in Lions River
Weekend and Sunday morning retreats are held in Francolin Fields, situated in the stunning Lion’s River area outside Howick. With numerous comfortable accommodation options, including a retreat cottage, and delicious Midlands country lunches provided, this retreat venue offers a unique opportunity to relax and reflect.
National Heritage Nature Park in Kamberg
We offer regular weekend retreats in the Drakensberg, with accommodation offered in three cottages surrounding a dam. The National Heritage Nature Park is located next to the Drakensberg world Heritage Site, and there are delightful views of the Giant’s Castle mountain range.

The Teacher Kelsang Jampel is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Centre Durban, based in Westville, Durban. He teaches weekly meditation classes at venues in and around Durban, and is well loved for hisability to touch peoples hearts through his inspirational teachings and personal example.
