During this half day course, Gen Jampel will introduce us to the Buddhist practice of POWA in a way that we will come to understand it and gain confidence to engage in it.
Alhough we know that death is a very important moment of our life, we’re often unprepared and don’t really know what to do when it comes.
Showing us this method to protect ourself and others from taking an unfortunate rebirth and enabling the purest rebirth possible – a life beyond suffering, is one of Buddha’s greatest kindness.

Gen Jampel takes joy in helping us discover the innate potential for freedom and peace we carry in our hearts – even in difficult times. An ordained Buddhist monk, he has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism for many years and elucidates the life-changing wisdom of meditation through the lens of everyday life. Loved for his uplifting example and playful humour, he is a relatable teacher and reliable friend to the community.
