When things go wrong in our life we often look about for who or what to blame and so many questions come like:
Why do bad things happen to good people?
Why me? Why this? Why now?
Am I being punished for something?
Life seems so cruel how does this all work?
Where do my experiences really come from?
Without guidance in these matters we are headed towards hopeless, helpless despair.
And while we’re on the topic of asking questions Why are some people beautiful and others not? Why are some people sickly and others not? – no matter what they do? Why are some people’s lives always difficult and for other people the things they want seem to fall into their laps no matter what they do?
Buddha gave detailed explanations answering these questions in his teachings on karma. In this meditation series Buddhist Monk, Gen Jampel will explain the workings of karma in such a way that we can begin to make sense of life no matter what happens. We will also gain confidence in what we can do with these new understandings to begin to protect our self from future suffering and create the future experiences we long for.
Everybody’s welcome!
