An event every week that begins at 10:30 am on Wednesday, repeating until March 20, 2024
Meditation is a method to make the mind peaceful and calm. With a calm and peaceful mind all our daily problems of anger, attachment (uncontrolled desire), insecurity, anxiety, depression and ignorance are solved.
Buddha taught special practices that give power to our meditations and enable them to be effective.
The practices that give power to our meditations are known as the five forces. The Five Forces are five practical tools Buddha taught that give power to our spiritual practice and help us to integrate mind training into our daily life. This makes them especially important for modern people, because the real magic is in bringing together meditation and daily activities.
In this series we will explore each of these five forces individually and collectively to understand through our own experience how they function to give power and effectiveness to a regular meditation practice and how they integrate seamlessly into daily life.
Each class is self-contained and is also presented as part of a series. Drop into any class.
Classes are suitable for beginners, absolutely no previous meditation experience needed and no special clothing is required.
