Anti-anxiety toolbox : Digital detox
Let’s start with a few questions.
Is anxiety a part of your reality or even ruining your life? Do you feel over-stimulated by the modern world and way of life? Is your phone rarely out of your hand? We all know how we feel when we have lost hours to tech-based distraction, but do we recognize that it is also draining us of energy to live with clarity and peace?
Instead of sinking into a habitual love of ease and distraction, now is the time to take back control of our mind.
In this morning course Buddhist monk Gen Jampel will give some tips for living freely in the digital age.
This will include insights:
- into understanding and overcoming anxiety
- recognising and reducing what causes us to seek the distraction of our devices so strongly.
- Gentle guided meditations to develop focus and clarity
- Skills to develop and maintain inner peace and authentic happiness in busy, modern life.
