Learning to Love

We all love the feeling of love, when we are on the receiving end of it and especially when our own heart is filled with it.  It makes everything wonderful, problems disappear, difficult people change into pleasant folk and even become friends.  It’s kind of magical.

But it seems so unstable and quickly turns into dissatisfaction, disappointment and pain.  Not to mention being generally elusive and complicated!

The truth is real love never causes pain it only brings good results but we need to strengthen our own good heart to experience this.  Buddha taught methods not only to stabilize these inner good qualities but also to cause them to unfold far beyond our ordinary experience of love – try to imagine that!

In this meditation class series Buddhist monk, Gen Jampel will teach us these methods and guide us gently using meditation to take them onboard.

Each class consists of a talk and two guided meditations.  The classes are self-contained and presented as part of a series. Drop into any class.
Classes are suitable for beginners and those wishing to deepen their experience.
