Purify your Mind, Purify your World
Purification Retreat: The Practice of Vajrasattva
We often devote much of our time and energy to avoiding problems by trying to change our external circumstances. However, the true source of our unhappiness and difficulties does not lie outside us—it arises from the negative karma we have created in the past through harmful actions.
The purification practice of Vajrasattva offers a powerful method to eliminate these inner causes of suffering. By relying on four opponent powers—regret, reliance, opponent force, and promise—in combination with Vajrasattva’s mantra, we can purify our mind, prevent future suffering, and create the inner conditions for lasting peace and happiness.
This retreat is guided by Gen Jampel and will use the sadhana Hundreds of Deities of the Joyful Land and Vajrasattva Short Sadhana. It is especially suitable for those with some experience of Buddhist meditation. Through this profound practice, we can begin to remove obstacles to spiritual progress and deepen our connection with inner peace.
