Charity dedicated to public benefit
The International Temples Project (ITP) is an international fund and registered charity dedicated to public benefit [Reg. Charity number 1015054 (England)]. It was established by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche with the aim to introduce the Buddhist faith in general and practice of the New Kadampa Tradition in particular publicly, and to exemplify contemporary Buddhist practice through public service. The project achieves this through building Temples, Kadampa Meditation Centres and International Retreat Centres, and through the activities of World Peace Cafes and Tharpa Publications. All profits from the classes, courses, bookshop and all other activities at KMCC go towards the International Temples Project.
“Just looking at a temple with a happy mind places good imprints on our mind and brings inner peace” – Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
